He proposes new design methods for the corner columns of buildings that redistribute excessive loads in extreme situations that would lead to the collapse of the structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project aims to reduce the vulnerability of buildings considered critical (hospitals, schools, passenger terminals, etc.) by reducing the damage of local instabilities that would translate into a progressive collapse. To this end, it is intended to provide greater robustness and security when designing buildings.
