This landmark experiment represents a <strong>significant step forward<\/strong> in understanding the behavior of structures subjected to<strong> extreme events.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The test simulated a <strong>highly demanding scenario<\/strong> involving the sudden loss of three columns, designed to replicate a <strong>severe structural failure condition<\/strong>. Despite the intensity of the event, the building <strong>did not experience a total collapse<\/strong>. This behavior demonstrates the structure\u2019s ability to<strong> localize damage and prevent its propagation<\/strong>, effectively <strong>avoiding a progressive collapse<\/strong>.
