Last month, the #OPTIFIB project (Optimization of the hydraulic performance of the drinking water network through fiber optics) developed the preliminary tests of its experimental program in the laboratory of the Concrete Science and Technology Research Institute (ICITECH) for the detection of structural failures in concrete pipes using a fiber optic system.
The Concrete Science and Technology Research Institute (ICITECH) and the ITEAM Research Institute of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, together with the companies Global Omnium and Fibsen, carry out the #OPTIFIB project, co-financed by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI ) and the European Council applicant support.
