WELCOME
El Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología del Hormigón (ICITECH) (Institute of Science and Technology of Concrete) is a research center of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) established in December 2004 and located on the UPV Campus of Vera.
ICITECH derives from two stable and complementary research groups:
GQUIMA: Research group in Construction Materials Chemistry, created in 1992 by Professor Jordi Payá Bernabeu.
ADITEC: Construction Analysis, Design and Technology Group, formally formed in 1999 and led by Professor Pedro Miguel Sosa.
El Instituto de Ciencia y Tecnología del Hormigón was established with a double objective: to promote quality research in both groups characterized by increasing scientific production and to favor the transfer of research results to companies in the sector.
Over time, the two groups have derived into 5 WORK AREAS:

- STRUCTURAL SECURITY
- NEW MATERIALS
- INDUSTRIALIZATION
